I've successfully avoided social media for the ent

I've successfully avoided social media for the entirety of 2023, which means I'm not going to tell you how many tries it took me to get a selfie I was willing to post. 🙈

But I had to get back online to share this labor of love, hot off the presses: How to Keep Your Faith After High School.

In my work with @corechristianity, I spend a lot of time helping brilliant writers bring beautiful and important truths into the world. But when this idea came up in a meeting more than a year ago, I refused to pass this project along. I know really well how to NOT keep your faith after high school and, especially now with a high schooler in my home, I care a lot about stopping that legacy in its tracks.

It's been really sweet to reflect on the Lord's kindness and mercy in my life as I attempted to draft a road map for those coming up behind me. It might not be exhaustive, but I pray it's helpful. If nothing else, I hope this little booklet serves as a testimony to the Lord's power: if he can save me, surely he can save anyone.

15 years ago, this sunshine girl made me a mom. 😭🥰 She got to do back-to-back nights of celebrating with her besties, including a sweet reunion for us with some of our favorites. 🥳

As we reflect on the challenging year it's been for Hadley, I can't help but marvel at the Lord's faithfulness---not only in providing for us and sustaining us around every bend, but in wisely appointing the very circumstances he'll use to strengthen Hadley's faith and shape her character. We couldn't be more proud of the young woman she's becoming. Our Father gives good gifts, and she is one of his best to us. 💕

Fun fact: On the day before Thanksgiving 12 years

Fun fact: On the day before Thanksgiving 12 years ago, @jordanmdahl and I went on our first date, oblivious to the fact that we would be married less than 4 months later and even less aware of the beautiful life we would get to build together over the next decade-and-counting.

I often fail to be grateful for that beautiful life--for the Lord's abundant kindness to us--so I'm glad for days like today where I can pause and reflect on his many good gifts to me: my husband's patience, my children's delight, my parents' generosity, the wonder of national forests and giant canyons, the promise of good food, and most of all, the hope of new mercies every morning in his Son. Happy Thanksgiving from the Dahls!
